We refer to teaching as “applications programming” and this is one of the strengths of our product. All applications programming for both measurement and defect detection is done through a powerful Graphical User Interface (GUI). We have a rich set of productivity tools built into our GUI that dramatically reduce the time required to develop an application for many classes of devices.

When a new customer decides to purchase a system from us we often include the option of having us create an application (or family of applications) for one of the parts/devices that you want to move to automated inspection. Doing this provides the additional benefits of having clear and meaningful acceptance criteria and the ability to put the system into production quickly.

Lastly let me add that learning to do applications programming on our system (or any machine vision system) involves learning the programming environment along with an appreciation of optics, lighting, and motion. We offer ongoing education and support to help our customer develop strong skills in all of these areas.
