Image quality is evaluated primarily by resolution (measured in pixel size) and contrast. The standard pixel size of our systems ranges from 1.75 microns to 3.3 microns and all have 256 levels of grayscale on the primary linescan camera. Some of our configurations also make use of a video camera that can be used for detailed operator review as well as an additional capture method for measurement and defect detection. Our typical video review camera has a resolution of about 5 microns. Should your class of products require a pixel size that is different than what is listed here, we are happy to provide a custom optical stack that suites your needs.
